Alice Anna (Detsch) Pytlarz Roberts
Alice Anna (Detsch) Pytlarz Roberts, age 89, passed away at LECOM at Presque Isle on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
Alice was born on August 8, 1933 in St. Marys, PA to the late George and Eva (Feldbauer) Detsch.
Alice retired from apartment management where she did everything from maintenance to redecorating. Her spare time was spent tending to her flowers and plants. She also enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Alice will be greatly missed by her children, Gloria Swanier of Texas, Ron Pytlarz (Karen) of Erie, Curt Pytlarz (Lynette) of Wattsburg, Alvin Pytlarz (Kim) of Ohio, and Linda Blackmer of Kentucky. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and her sister, Geraldine Woomer of Girard.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her ex-husband, John Pytlarz; her son, Larry Pytlarz; her sons in law, Melvin Swanier and David Blackmer; her grandchildren, Shane Pytlarz and Lisa Pytlarz; 3 brothers, James, George Jr., and Willis, and 2 sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” and Norma Jean.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
