Timothy Paul Capozziello
Timothy Paul Capozziello, 58, of Erie, PA, formerly of Ocala, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
Tim was born on April 6, 1965, son of the late John D. Capozziello and C. LaVerne (Morrison) Capozziello.
Tim was a devoted family man and a fierce friend to all who knew him. He was an extremely talented carpenter and woodworker, learning his craft at the knee of his father. He owned his own woodworking business in Ocala, Capozziello Classic Interior, before moving back to Erie in 2018. Most recently he worked for his friend, Rob Shearer, at Shearer and Sons Contracting Services.
“Timoteo the Magnificent” endeared himself to everyone he met with his infectious sense of humor and quick wit. Tim will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and brother, and a generous heart whose pride and joy was his family. He loved his Tampa Bay Rays and Buccaneers, and especially loved his dog, Sadie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, D. Michael “Mickey” and Joel D., and his beloved dogs, Jack and Goldie.
Tim is survived and eternally missed by his wife and true love, Karen A. (Manzione) Capozziello; his daughter, Elise Marie Nguyen (Leo) and granddaughter, Maddox Marie; his sisters, Constance M. Watt (Mike) and Angela R. Orlando (Jeff); his brothers, John P., T. Gerald (Mary Lou), James M. (Rosemary), Robert G., and Christian L.; his stepdaughter, Alanna O’Brien, and numerous nieces and nephews, especially Aaron M. Capozziello, and Stefani Coup, who officiated his marriage to Karen.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of UPMC Hamot MICU for their heartfelt care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
