Kathie Anne Rothrock
Kathie Anne Rothrock, age 70, of Erie passed away peacefully on May 8, 2023, at her residence.
She was born in Erie on August 2, 1952, to the late Floyd and Margret Ruhl. Kathie graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in History. Kathie was a devoted wife and mother and Nana. She enjoyed, crafts, trivia, crosswords, and traveling the world
Kathie was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Rothrock; her son, Michael Macmillan Beall, and her brother, Jimmy Ruhl.
Kathie is survived by her daughters, Margret “Amelia” Rothrock, Kirsten Beall, and Dawn Beall Cummings (Michael), Valerie Davis (Rich Young), and Laurie Beall. She was an amazing Nana to Tyler Beall (Dorian Terry), Timothy White Jr. (Celine Wang), Ciarra Robinson, Cardan Robinson (Collin Carter), GAuna Davis, Aarion Robinson, Sacario Robinson, Talan Sansom, and Cameron Sansom. She is also survived by her brother, Ron Ruhl; her niece, Sandra Zhili, and nephew, John Ruhl.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Erie DAWN or Emmaus Soup Kitchen. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the amazing nurses at AseraCare Hospice, especially her favorite nurse, Stacey.
