Sylvia J. Stover
Sylvia Johanna Stover, age 58, of Waterford, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at UPMC Hamot. She passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family.
Born on August 31, 1957, in Kleinostheim, Germany, she was the daughter of Heinrich and Edeltrud (Seitz) Reising.
Sylvia loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She always put other's needs before her own, even in the time of her own struggles. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, James William Stover; her children, Daniela, Dirk and his wife Nancy, Marsha, and David; grandchildren, Michelle, Marie, Maxie, Miah, Elaina, Luca, and Emily; her mother, Edeltrud Reising; four sisters, Dagma, Manuela, Gabriela and her husband Rudiger, and Christiana. She was much loved by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her father, Heinrich Joseph Reising; a brother, Elma Reising; her brother in law, Armin Brennels; and several aunts and uncles.
The family will be holding a wake and celebration of Sylvia's life. Date, time, and location will be announced at a later date.
Askins Cremation Funeral Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
