Linda Zimmer
A very sweet soul has passed through the Pearly Gates. On April 10, 2021, Linda Marlene Zimmer, 77, gently moved into eternal peace after a very brief visit to the LECOM at Presque Isle Nursing facility while in Hospice care.
Born on December 10, 1943, she was an Erie resident all her life. Linda enjoyed visitors, being outside, and she loved music. In spite of being disabled all of her life, she was full of love and will be very missed by those who remained close to her.
Surviving are her brothers, Frank (Sherrie) of Jamestown, NY and Daniel, of Erie. She is also survived by two nephews, Justin Zimmer of South Dayton, NY and Matthew Zimmer of Hickory, NC, and her great niece, Makayla Zimmer.
Linda was preceded in death by her dedicated parents, Lester Zimmer (2003) and Iona (Loomis)Zimmer (2019), and her nieces, Stephanie Zimmer and Kimberly Zimmer.
There will be no visitation. Linda’s cremated remains will be interred at Erie County Memorial Gardens alongside her parents. Online condolences may be made at www.GoErie.com
