Lisa Marie (Bennett) Lawrence
Lisa Marie (Bennett) Lawrence, age 58, of Corry, PA, died in the comfort of her home on Thursday, December 2, 2021 after battling breast cancer for 1 year. She was a fighter and overcame a lot throughout her life.
She was born July 25, 1963. She was married for 10 years and started her family in 1983. Lisa worked in the healthcare field as a caregiver, and was a housing advocate. She completed school to become a Massage Therapist. Lisa was an active member of her church and had a strong faith. She loved going to the movies, going to baseball games, watching wrestling, gardening, listening to music, and doing activities with her children and grandchildren. She was an amazing, loving, caring, peaceful, and faithful woman.
Lisa is survived by her three children, EDona (Lawrence) Reynolds of Erie, Tara (Lawrence) Sheehan of Corry, and Nicholas Lawrence of Erie; her mother, Margaret (Dunkle-Bennett) Hopkins of Erie; her brothers, Richard Bennett of Erie, Melvin Bennett of Erie, Kevin Bennett of Erie, Paul Ellsworth of Erie, and Doug Bennett of Erie; her sisters, Tracy Ellsworth of Erie, and Christine Daniels (Bennett) of Ridge, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jadealisa, Jaylynn, Jamya, Nicholas Jr, Zachary, Trinity and Bethany, and many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her dad, Melvin Bennett Sr.; her grandmother, Agnes Nosko, and her grandfather, Paul Nosko.
There will be no viewing or visitation. Instead, she requested to have a Celebration of Life party which will be planned in the next couple months.
