Christine Marie Pietras
Christine Marie Pietras, age 55, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
Born in Erie on November 28, 1967, she was a daughter of the late Frank M. and Dorothy Mae (Kler) Pietras.
Christine loved the Cleveland Browns and Spiderman. She was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School, and enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics. Christine was a resident of the Barber Center Group Home for many years, and enjoyed working at the Barber Center Workshop. She will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by her brothers, Kenneth Pietras (Beverly), Michael Pietras (Laurie), Thomas Pietras (Tiffany), James Pietras (fiancée Jennifer Chivalette), and Gregory Pietras (Missy); her sisters, Kathleen Nathal (Ralph), and Therese Franz (Brian), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her brothers, David and Raymond.
Her family would like to express their great appreciation to Family Hospice, the Barber Center Staff, and her family at the Barber Center Group Home for their loving care of Christine.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 W. 38th Street, Erie, PA 16506 on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
