Lyle Merle Ladd
Lyle M. Ladd, age 88, of Corry, PA, passed away on January 2, 2020.
Born in Elgin, PA on July 13, 1931, he was a son of the late Charles and Mabel (Wetmore) Ladd.
Lyle was raised and educated in the Corry area, graduating from Corry High School in 1949. He served in the US Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. Lyle worked at McInnes Steel as a machine operator for 29 years, retiring in 1994. He was a lifetime member of the Corry V.F. W. and a member of Village Friends in Corry. Lyle enjoyed owning new cars, going to flea markets, and traveling. He loved spending time with his family and friends both in Corry and Florida.
Lyle is survived by his loving wife, G. Ann (Walker) Ladd of Corry; his daughters, Shirley Green and husband Dennis of Arizona, and Cindy Neimyer and husband Duane of Youngsville, PA; his step sons, Rev. Milton "Bud" Vogel III and his wife Denise of Clarion, PA, Michael Vogel and wife Kim of Arbuckle, PA, Mark Vogel and wife Galenda of Arbuckle, PA, Matthew Vogel and wife Andrea of Zephyrhills, FL, and Merle Vogel and wife Joann of Union City, PA; his sister, Eleanor McIntyre of North East, PA; his sister in law, Louise Ladd of The Villages, FL; 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia Kafferlin and Dorothy Watrous; his brothers, Howard Ladd, and Roy Ladd; sister in law, Ellen Ladd, and step daughter, Michelle Bloom.
There will be no viewing or visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
