Keith G. “Maz” Mazanowski
Keith G. “Maz” Mazanowski, age 66, of Summit Township, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021. He passed in his sleep after a brave battle with esophageal cancer.
Keith was born in Erie on July 21, 1954 to the late Stanley and Josephine (Boniecki) Mazanowski.
He cherished his lifelong friendship with the “Band of Brothers”, Mikey, Hank, Jim, Timmy, Bryan, Dale, and Larry. “See ya on the other side”.
Keith is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Kelly Mazanowski, whom he married on June 25, 1999. They enjoyed many years together enjoying music, Keith’s passion, being a bass guitar player in many Erie bands.
He is also survived by his sister, Marcy Soloman of Waterford; his brother, Marty Mazanowski and his wife Heidi of Erie; his in-laws, Ronald Ripple and his wife Ellen Young of Seattle, WA and Debbie Haenel and her husband Don of Fairview; 3 nieces, 1 nephew, and 4 great nieces.
In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Mazanowski and an infant nephew, Chance Mazanowski.
The family would like to thank the St. Vincent Cancer Center for their help to fight this with Keith, and the VNA Hospice Team who helped make this a little easier to handle.
There will be no viewing or visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
