Michael F. Schutte
Michael F. Schutte, age 52, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 after a battle with cancer. Born October 16, 1970 in Erie PA, he was the son of the late Lucia (Schnelzer) Johnson and Norman Schutte.
He learned carpentry at an early age and continued to evolve his skill set over the past 4 decades to become a master craftsman. Mike had an unmatched wit and was always quick to make others feel comfortable by sharing his wonderful sense of humor.
He was a talented musician who loved the camaraderie of getting friends together and making music. Mike was relatable and warm, helping others through struggles he knew too well himself.
He was often labeled as "the black sheep" and embraced the role to help his little sister Dani understand the beauty lying just outside the mainstream. He loved his time with his family.
Survivors include the love of his life, his wife, Tammy; his sister, Dani Free (Ryan); his children, Anthony, Zachary, Nicholas, Isabella, Michael Jr.; his 3 step children, Brett, Kelsey (Garrett), and Ethan, and 4 Grandchildren whom he adored and loved, Emmett, Temperance, Jace, and Caiden.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
