James Edward Morgan
James Edward Morgan, age 68, of Corry, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at LECOM Health Corry Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Ohio on September 19, 1954, a son of Dan L. Morgan and the late Marguerite E. (Nichols) Morgan.
James was raised and educated in Mentor, OH and Bear Lake, PA. He graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1973. After graduation, James attended school in Johnstown, PA. He worked at different jobs at Corry Manufacturing, Corry Memorial Hospital, and Clymer Central School, to name a few. James enjoyed time with family and friends. He enjoyed drawing and painting, and created amazing artwork. He enjoyed singing and playing the drums and guitar in church. James attended The New Life Assembly of God Church in Corry. He was a member of the Artist Skills Guide for many years.
James is survived by his lovely daughter, Lisa Morgan and her fiancé, Jason Lindstrom, Sr. of Corry, PA, and his grandchildren, Jason, Jr., Janae, and Jalisa Lindstrom. He talked highly of his daughter and 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Dan J. Morgan of Corry, PA, Jeffrey F. Morgan and his wife Lola of Holgate, OH; his half-brother, Evan Johnson of Maryland, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his mother, James was preceded in death by brother, Michael T. Morgan, and his step mother, Gertrude F. (Nichols) Morgan.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for James on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at The New Life Assembly of God Church, 715 E. Main St., Corry, PA at 11:00 AM.
Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Corry.
