Darlene V. Williams
Darlene V. Williams, age 63, of Erie, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Saint Vincent Hospital.
She was born in Sharon, PA on January 21, 1960, a daughter of the late L.C. Cleveland and Joyce Solomon Cleveland.
Darlene worked at Moravia Health. She was a loving and caring person. She enjoyed taking care of people, music, and dancing. Her grandkids meant the world to her.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Williams; her daughters, Richena Williams (Alfonzo Davis) and Ruby Williams; her sons, Marione “Rowan” Robinson and Demitrius Cleveland (Linda); her sisters, Cheryl Johnson, Deana Tate, Melveda Cleveland, Carmella Cleveland, and LaTanya Green; her brothers, Antonio Cleveland and Darrly Cleveland. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Almira Williams, Zycari Williams, Monesha Williams, Dequanna Williams, Montenez Enguillen, Monteri Enguillen, Bobby Manning, Demetrius Cleveland, Jr., Dearius Cleveland, DeMyrio Cleveland, Dahmarze Cleveland, DeAujarae Cleveland, Dalhart Dobbs-Cleveland; 4 great grandchildren, DaQuan Williams, Da’Layah Williams, Dahan Lomax, and Anais Cleveland, her sisters, Lacola Cleveland and Jeanette Cleveland, her brother, Shontell Cleveland, and her friends, Linda Wurst, Jerome Houston, Linda Houston, and Lillian Lewis (Larry).
In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her daughter, Aisha Williams, a sister, Anglea Cleveland; a brother, Lorenzo Cleveland; her grandmother, Ida Mae Holloway; her uncle, Randolph Foster, Sr., and five grandchildren, Lanasha Williams, Kimora Williams, Rogernae Williams, Roger Williams, and NyZir Williams.
Friends may call at the Wesleyville Baptist Church, 3509 Buffalo Road, Erie, PA 16510 on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Erie Cemetery.
