Deloris Mae (Dyne) Schiefelbein
Deloris Mae Schiefelbein, age 89, of Fairview, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021.
Born on January 8, 1932 in Girard, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Carolyn (Johnson) Dyne.
Deloris proudly served in the U.S. Navy. She earned an Associate Degree at Erie Business College, and was employed as an executive secretary with J.P. Morgan, the Lord Corporation, and retired from Dugan Air in Belleview, WA.
She loved farming, gardening, crocheting, playing golf, and traveling. Deloris was active in the community as a Lawrence Park crossing guard, Boy Scout Leader, and was a volunteer with the Lawrence Park Fire Department. She was also a member of the Lord Corporation Recreational Committee.
Deloris is survived by her sons, Richard Schiefelbein and his wife Tanis of Washington, Robert Schiefelbein of Texas, Randall Schiefelbein and his wife Tina of Erie, and Russell Schiefelbein of Florida; her brothers, Richard Dyne, Fred Dyne, and Butch Dyne; her sister, Ginny Palochak; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mabelle Nickelson, Wilma Fulk, and Laura Foznut, and her former husband, Richard Schiefelbein.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no viewing or visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
