Vicki Kae Ward
Vicki Kae Ward, age 44, of Union City, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018, comfortably in her loving home.
She was the beloved wife of Joshua Ward of Union City.
Vicki was born in Corry, Pennsylvania on June 28, 1973, the daughter of Diane Chase Krieg, who she will be meeting again in Heaven.
Besides her husband Josh, Vicki is survived by her three children; Katelynn Vanderhoof and her love Jason Hajec of Corry, Kelsey (Blakeslee) Eyerly and her husband Neil of San Diego, CA, and Kyle Babcock of Union City; seven grandchildren, Quora Hajec, Scarlette Eyerly, Evalynn Eyerly, Beckham Eyerly, Harper Eyerly, Emma Peterson, and Jaxson Holz; her grandmother, Betty Chase of Corry, and her two brothers, Harold Blakeslee of Pymatuning and Michael Rooney of Erie.
She was preceded in death by her mother and grandfather, Harold Chase.
Vicki was an incredible person who would help anyone in need. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved shopping, traveling, and going on vacations with her husband.
She found great joy in donating to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Research Foundation. Vicki simply enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
At Vicki's request, we will not be holding a funeral, but instead we will have a "Celebration of Life" with family and friends at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in dedication to Vicki, our loved one, by going to stjude.org, clicking "Donate", and checking "Dedicate my Donation" as Vicki would do so herself.
Askins Cremation Funeral Services, 8354 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, PA 16509 is assisting the family with arrangements.
