Leonard Quintin Shumac
Leonard Quintin Shumac, age 76, of Wattsburg, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024.
Born in Erie, PA on September 28, 1947, he was the son of the late Quintin and Bernadette (Steger) Shumac.
In his younger years, Leonard enjoyed motorcycling and trail-riding. He had an avid, life-long interest in computers and electronics. He was a kind hearted man who would help anyone in need, from pulling a stranger out of a ditch with his very old bulldozer, repairing farm and lawn equipment, broken computers or televisions. If you called, he was there to help. He loved to spend time alone in his home in Wattsburg, but took a liking to one of his niece’s children.
Leonard is survived by his brothers, Timothy, Daniel, John “Jack”, Michael, Mark, and Charles Shumac; his sisters, Linda Brown, Nancy Frose, Karen Shumac, Pamela Shumac, Katherine Shumac, and Sally Rastatter, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Julie Finke.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on April 20, 2024 at the Wilderness Lodge, 13448 Weeks Valley Road, Wattsburg, PA 16442 from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM.
