Michael Patrick Cieslak
Michael P. Cieslak, age 73, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at UPMC Hamot.
Born in Erie on March 29, 1949, he was the son of the late Edmund and Dorothy (Smith) Cieslak.
Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycling, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas Shuhart and his wife, Mary Lou of Greer, SC, Russell Shuhart and his wife, Vanessa of Erie, Michael Cieslak and his wife Bridget of Erie; his daughter, Nicole Cruz and her husband Paul of Winder, GA; his sisters, Catherine Curtis and Christine Hess, both of Puryear, TN, and Eleanor Mello and her husband, Chuck of Erie, and his brother, Joseph Cieslak of Erie. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Cortney, Sara, Eriole, Elijah, Alyssa, Michael Jr., and Emily; two great grandsons, Caiden, and Nico, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Gilbo) Cieslak, and his sister, Mary Jo Manning.
There will be no viewing or visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
