Linda L. Griffith
Linda L. Griffith, 72, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2022.
Born in Erie on February 15, 1950, she was a daughter to the late Raymond and Lillian (Petachi) Onorato.
Linda was a caring, strong, and giving person who put her family’s needs above her own. She always welcomed a new face to her dining room table with a smile. She was known for her cooking and baking. She spent several years as a bingo caller for V.F.W. Post 470. She was a graduate of McDowell High School.
Survivors include her daughter, Tarra (Griffith) McGraw and son in law, Eric McGraw; a grandson, Mason Griffith; her brother, Richard Onorato (Pat); her sister, Doris Ferry; a godson, Mark Thompson, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert; a son, Dewey Ray; her brothers, Raymond “Buck” Onorato, Charles Onorato, Donald Onorato, and James Onorato, and her sisters, Jean Thompson and Geraldine Thompson.
A Memorial Mass will be held in Linda’s honor on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 W. 38th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
