Troy Jack Tippen, 61, of Wattsburg, PA passed away peacefully in his home on June 20, 2017. He was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
He was born in East Cleveland, OH, on May 1, 1956. He graduated from Kirtland High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Denice Nancy Giarelli, on February 24, 1979.
Troy’s greatest joys in life were being with his family and serving others. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, but enjoyed coaching and cheering at each of his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting interests even more. He constantly offered to help those around him including serving on the Erie First Assembly of God youth ministry team for 17 years. He took great pride in fixing or tweaking anything that needed it. He was MacGyver to many.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jon & Margaret (Windsor) Tippen, and sister Traci Maybach.
Troy is survived by his wife, Denice; son, Preston (Aimee) Tippen; daughters, Ashley (Josh) Weight, and Alison (Josh) Vallimont; grandchildren, Paxton and Emilia Tippen, Gabriella and Everleigh and Micah Weight, and Levi and Celeste Vallimont; and sisters, Martha (Larry) Harshman, and Shawn (Ken) Kirby; brothers, Tom (Nancy) Tippen and Terry (Margie) Tippen; as well as many loved family and friends.
