Cherie Lynn Wethy
Cherie Lynn Wethy, age 61, of McKean, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021.
Born in Richmond, MI on May 24, 1960, she was the daughter of Sharon (Clancy) Rogers and the late Jack Raska.
Cherie enjoyed bird watching. In her younger years, she loved to sing, and was a member of her church choir. Cherie loved everyone like sons and daughters, and considered all of her friends as family. She was raised in the Catholic Faith and was very devout. Her heart knew no bounds. Cherie was always ready and willing to help anyone in need. Her favorite flowers were roses and lilacs, and she enjoyed growing them.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by 2 daughters, Sara Elizabeth Wethy and Christianna Irene Wethy; her sister, Cindy Stout; her brothers, Timothy Raska and Thomas Raska; her former son in law, Michael Kenworthy; her beloved granddaughter, Catherine Lynn Hope Wethy, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jeff Wethy, and her children, Joshua Aaron Wethy, and Amanda Lynn Wethy.
Friends may call at Askins Cremation Funeral Services on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 4:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:00 PM. Deacon Ralph DeCecco will officiate.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
