Gladys P. Magee
Gladys P. Magee, 82, of Union City, PA, passed away peacefully at her residence on November 21, 2021.
She was born on November 21, 1939 in Union City, PA, daughter of the late Chauncey Parker and Thelma Parker Flaugh. She graduated from Union City High School in 1957.
Gladys married Jack Magee on July 14, 1959. She was a longtime member of the Union City Moose Lodge, the American Legion, and the Union City Country Club. She was a co-owner at Magee’s Townhouse Lounge and the Union City Dinor.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack Magee, and four adult children; Lori Carney (Paul) of Corry, PA, Eric Magee (Caryn) of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Michael Magee (Kerri) of Union City, PA, and Troy Magee (Carrie) of Union City, PA. She is also survived by two sisters, Janette Heron (Jim) and Joy Pruett; sisters in law, Jane Barnes, Verna McCracken (Chauncey) and Gail Kolaja (Lynn). In addition, she is also survived by twelve grandchildren; Paul Carney III (Renee), Brenden Carney, Aaron Carney, Meghan Heil (Nickolas), Paige Magee, Meredith Magee, Regan Magee, Avery Magee, Michayla Magee, Shea Magee, Zoe Magee, and Quinlan Magee, and three great-grandchildren, Amelia Carney, Eliza Carney and Hudson Heil, and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
There will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Gladys on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the American Legion LeBaron Post 237, 9225 Rt. 6, Union City, PA 16438.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to UPMC Family Hospice- Erie.
