Carolyn G. Trudeau
Carolyn G. Trudeau (age 78) of Millcreek Township, passed away on May 31, 2022 after losing a battle with a long-term illness. Born in Erie, Pa, on May 6, 1944, she was the daughter of late Leo and Laura (Giddings) Hedderick.
Carolyn was a very loving, family oriented and devout Christian. She was a member of Family Worship Center of Erie, PA for many years. She cared deeply for others and devoted a large part of her life not only raising her own children but, she fostered many children throughout her earlier years and went on to open up her own daycare.
She is survived by her three daughters, Laurie Schell, Lisa Goodwin and Lois Trudeau; her two brothers, Kenneth Hedderick and Donald Hedderick; four sisters, Louise Hull, Cindy Lavery, Christine Barse and Cathleen Laskowski. Carolyn is also survived by her three grandsons, Benjamin Nye, Daniel Nye and Lorenzo Beard; one granddaughter, Lanaya Trudeau; five great grandchildren, Ian Nye, Michael Nye, Michelle Nye, Ilima Nye, Hoku Branco and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sisters, Rosie Daley and Pency Bliel Schuroloff.
The burial/cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate the life she lived.
