Benjamin Santiago
Benjamin Santiago, age 77, of Erie, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 19, 2021.
He was one of a kind. He always had a joke, he had a million of them! He was always making things that he referred to as a Benvention, and he always had a story. Ben served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam. He always did work in some form of construction; he was a Carpenter, Kitchen Designer, Property Maintenance person, and for the last 20+ years as a Real Estate Investor. Many people loved Ben and will miss him so much, especially his friends Garrett and Scott. Remember Ben and the good times you had with him, our memories are so precious.
Ben was married to Helen (Mawhir) Santiago. They were married for 23 years, and they loved each other beyond words. Ben helped Helen raise her sons, Andrew (Brittany) and Matthew Runstedler. He also has a daughter, Roxanne Westerman and granddaughters Tyler, Sydney and Lyndsey Westerman.
At Ben’s request there will be no funeral or memorial service.
