Joseph Catania
Joseph Catania, 63, of Harborcreek Township, passed away early Tuesday morning, September 27, 2022.
Joe loved golf and bowling, even going pro for a short period. He worked for and helped run Sam Catania Painting since he was 14 years old. Joe was an inspiration to everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his mother, Audrey Varich; his siblings, Mark Catania (Karen), John Catania (Colleen), Cheryl Catania (Tim), Greg Varich (Jean,) Ron Fellows (Anne), and Sam Catania (Mary); his three children, Melissa Gailey (Robert), Joe Catania (Jessica), and Jessie McClelland (Steve); a granddaughter, Leyna McClelland. In addition, he is survived by his step mother, Ann Donavan (Mike); step brothers, Joe Lubman (Lori), and Mike Lubman (Tina); many nieces and nephews, and his very closest friends, Heidi Ford, Ron Lytle, and Randy Moore, and his beloved pet bird, Sammy Bird. Joe had many 'special kids' throughout the years, Thomas Ruffley Jr., Luk Heliker, Donald Graham, Brandon Torak, Jerry Warren, and many other crew members along the way.
Joseph is preceded in death by his father, Sebastian Catania.
