Barbara Jean (White) Russell
Barbara Jean (White) Russell, age 78, of Edinboro, PA, passed away on July 24th, 2023, while surrounded by her family and loved ones.
She was born in Warren County, PA on November 13th, 1944. Barbara was the daughter of the late Ruben & Mary Jane (Allen) White.
Barbara loved her family, cooking, baking, and spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved playing cards and getting her nails and hair done by her grandchildren.
Barbara worked for Edinboro Manor for 18 years and enjoyed every minute of helping the residents and making them feel like family.
She is survived by her brother, Roger White; her sister, Carol Steffey; her children, Candy Bingham and her husband Mike, and their children Amanda and Danielle; Her son, James Russell Jr. and Victoria Stempka, and his children Jessica, Tiffany, James, and Jeannie; her step children, Robin Billings, Charlotte Barto, Janice Litz, Howard Burkett, John Burkett, Everett Burkett and Tina Litz, and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Russell Sr.; her brothers, Gary White and Daryl White; her sister, Ida White; her daughters, Brenda Russell and Penny Russell, and her son, James Russell.
The family would like to thank Senior Choice for their aid and the following aids Jessica Start, April Gibbons, and Barbara’s granddaughter, Jessica Davis.
Services will be held outside at 12002 Eureka Road, Edinboro PA 16412, on Aug. 13th, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. A celebration of Barbara’s life will follow from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Edinboro Community Building at 124 Meadville St., Edinboro, PA 16412.
