James Edwain Scheig
James Edwin Scheig, age 78, of Erie, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022.
Born in Erie on April 11, 1944, he was the son of the late Arthur and Artha (Linden) Scheig.
James served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1970. At the completion of his military service, he became a trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police from 1971 until his retirement in 1992.
He is survived by his son, Mark Scheig.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Scheig.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
