Wayne L. Pattison
Wayne L. Pattison, age 67, of Albion, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023.
Wayne was a stubborn man, and at times hard to live with, but deep down he had a good heart.
He served in the U.S. Navy and got to see many ports while serving his country.
He loved horses and rode them as a kid and an adult. He even delivered newspapers on horseback. He loved western movies and knew the words as well as the actors. He always wished he had been born back then.
Wayne was a good welder and fabricator, and enjoyed doing that for many years of his life.
He had two favorite quotes. “God gave me this life and I’ll do what I want with it” and that he sure did. The other quote was “Don’t say you are sorry, it’s a sign of weakness. Two sayings he really believed and lived by.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Debra; his sisters, Debbora Salow and her husband Mark, Joann Wright, and Christine Pattison; his brother, Jeffery Pattison; 2 step children, 4 step grandchildren, 6 nephews, 3 nieces, 1 great nephew, and 1 great niece.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joann (Heck) Pattison Myers, and his father, David V. Pattison.
Visitation will be at Askins Cremation Funeral Services, 8354 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, PA 16509 on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM until the time of the service at 7:00 PM.
