Donna Marie (Johnsons) Horstman
Donna Marie (Johnson) Horstman, age 65, passed away peacefully at UPMC Hamot, under the compassionate care of an amazing healthcare team who helped guide her and her family through that difficult time. Donna passed away on July 19, 2022, with many of her family able to visit in her final days.
Donna was born on June 23, 1957 in Cleveland, OH and resided in Erie, PA for most of her life. Donna is survived by her three children and six grandchildren: William Horstman Jr., his wife Kelly, and their children, Chase and Sydney; Stacy McCarthy and her children, Alexandria, Emma and William; and Kelly Guzowski and her daughter, Abigayle Simmons. In addition, she is survived by her former spouse, William Horstman Sr.; three of her brothers, Michael and his wife Connie, Albert, and James “Jimmy” Johnson; her sister, Karen Horne; her niece, Diana Robison, her husband Will, and their children; as well as many other extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ruth (Nuckles) Johnson; her brother, David Johnson; and her brother-in-law, Willie Horne.
In her earlier years, Donna blessed the lives of many children, that she provided daycare for in her home, as well as spending quality time with her own three children and their friends, who were always welcome. She loved camping, playing games, baking, and spending time with her friends and family.
In lieu of a viewing, a Celebration of Life will be held, date to be announced.
