Dorothy Marie (Anzinger) Harahue
Dorothy M. Harahue, age 88, of Erie, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021.
Born in Ridgeway, PA on March 14, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Claire (Smithbauer) Anzinger.
Dorothy worked in housekeeping at Doctors Osteopathic Hospital on W. 11th Street for 10 years. She also worked at Gannon University in housekeeping for 28 years before retiring. Dorothy loved to ride her bicycle around the city and on Presque Isle. She enjoyed playing the violin. One of her favorite things to do was to take short trips to different places with her friends.
She is survived by her sons, Stanley Glass (Basilia) of Virginia Beach, VA and Joseph Mangiarcina (Pam Zybowski) of Erie; her daughter, Christine Price of Erie; 7 grandchildren, Cory Glosser, Ian Price, Ashley Price, Michelle Glass, Michael Glass, Michael Mangiarcina, Matthew Mangiarcina; 7 great grandchildren; 2 nieces, Nancy Challingsworth, Betty Swanson; 1 nephew, Robert Anzinger, and several cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, and 2 sisters, Mary Pichler and Margie Himes.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
