Brian “Red” Allen

Brian "Red" Allen, of Wattsburg, quietly passed away at the age of 65 Wednesday, April 22, 2020, surrounded by friends and family. 

Red was born in Corry, PA, September 18, 1954, the son of the late Donald and Esther (Taylor) Allen, and the son-in-law of Lee and Ruth Ramsdell.

Red was a fun and loving gentleman with a unique personality.  He was a guy who would do anything for anyone, but never asked for help himself.  Red enjoyed hunting and being with friends.  Red retired from Barnes Group Associated Springs in Corry earlier this year after 47 years of service.

Red is survived by his wife, Susan Allen; his sons, Jason Allen and wife Beronica, Shane J. Allen and wife Lori; his grandson, Brooks M. Allen; his granddaughter, Paula Lopez; great grandson, Xzavier Lopez; his brothers, Bruce Allen, Brent Allen and wife Rebecca, Brad Allen and wife Joan, and many nieces and nephews.  

Red was a Master Mason of the Corry Masonic Lodge #365 F. & A.M.  He was also an active member of the Zem Zem Shrine Erie, PA, 2004 Chief Aid to the Potentate and 2004 Noble of the Year, Chief of Camel Herders Stable 44 in 2004.  President of the Corry Union City Shrine Club several years.  Current Director of the Royal Order of the Jesters Court 58 Erie, PA.  Member of the Kachina Billiken Klub, Member of the Benevolent Order of Crabs Cumberland Claw Number Eight.  He was also a member of the Union City Moose Lodge #882, Sons of American Legion LeBaron Post #237 of Union City, PA and Fraternal Order of the Eagles.  Red was also an active volunteer in many organizations.

There will be no viewing or visitation.
