Richard Clayton Benson
Richard Clayton Benson, age 68, of Wesleyville, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
Born in Erie, PA on July 31, 1954, he was the son of Marilyn J. (Castonis) Benson Watson and the late Donald E. Benson.
Richard attended Harborcreek Schools. He loved to watch television, and owned and operated his own trucking company for over 20 years, R. Benson Trucking.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn J. (Castonis) Benson Watson; his sisters, Roxine Benson and Valerie Benson; his sister-in-law, Jan Benson; his former wife, Merilee Sharie; his stepsons, James, Robert, and Todd; his stepdaughters, Sherie and Lori, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Donald E. Benson, Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Willover; his brother, Thomas Benson, and his step father, Larry Watson.
