William (Billy) L. Von
WIlliam (Billy) L. Von, age 71, of Erie, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Pleasant Ridge Manor.
Born April 28, 1945, he was a son of the late Robert and Patricia Richter Von.
Billy enjoyed cooking and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He worked for many years at the South Shore Inn as a gourmet chef. Billy was a loving son and brother.
He is survived by his spouse, Darlene Confer of Girard; his sisters, Debbie Wnek and her husband, Tom, of Girard, Anna Thompson and her husband, Tom, of Erie, Brenda Byrd and her companion, Brian Coon, of Meadville, and Charmagne Jude and her husband, Bob, of Erie; his brother, Troy Von of Danville, KY, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be holding a benefit and time of remembrance for Billy at a location and time to be announced.
Askins Cremation Funeral Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
