THOMAS JOSEPH KAUFMANN
Thomas Joseph Kaufmann, 71, of Millcreek, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Walnut Creek Nursing Health and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.
He was born June 12, 1947, son of the late August J. and Ethel (Haibach) Kaufmann. He was preceded in death by a sister Carol Kaufmann Weiser in 2012.
Tom graduated from McDowell High School and worked at Plastek Industries. He was very active and loved softball, owning his own Slo-Pitch team “TK’s Orioles”. He also enjoyed racquetball, and his love of animals and Corvettes was lifelong.
Tom is survived by his wife, Dianne (Nies) Kaufmann; a daughter, Jennifer Sheldon (Brian) of Erie; a son, Rick Kosinski (Lori) of Fredonia, NY; close cousin, Harold Haibach of Erie; two nieces, and several cousins.
Friends and family will be received at the Sportsmen's Athletic Club of Millcreek , 2727 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505 on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM .
