Dawn Carol Renfro
Dawn Carol Renfro went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2019, in her family's home surrounded by the love of her daughter, granddaughter and grand dogs Sasha and Cree by her side.
Dawn was born on July 10, 1938 In Cleveland, Ohio.
She was known for her fabulous sense of style. She was always adorned in bright colors and jeweled from head to toe, with her famous red hair and those iconic false eyelashes. She had a passion for glitter and glam.
Despite being divorced and then widowed, she was the perfect matchmaker for others. She introduced her daughter to her husband and they remain married after 28 years. She was also responsible for introducing extended family members Ed and Nancy Burley who were happily married for 43 years. Dawn loved all animals, shopping, and music, but most of all loved her family and friends.
She was so proud to be a great grandmother and considered Kristina to be her greatest blessing that she never expected to live long enough to see. Her love for family, friends, and especially great granddaughter Kristina encouraged her to overcome many heath issues during the past few years.
Dawn is survived by her daughter Melody and her husband Bob, granddaughter Kristen, great granddaughter Kristina, as well as treasured friends, Nancy, Sue, Frances and Geri. She will be dearly missed and forever hold a place in our hearts.
There will be no service at this time, however a celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.
