John B. Koziara
John B. Koziara, 70, of Pleasantville, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026 at Corry Manor surrounded by family. He was born in Oil City on January 26, 1956, a son of the late John J. and Gladys A. Harrison Koziara.
He was a graduate of Oil City High School. He served 4 years as a Marine.
John worked for Erie Plastics for many years in addition to working on Locomotives at G.E.
He enjoyed fishing, taking photos on the Drake Well Bike Trail, and walking with his dear friend, Lenise Thomeier.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Rita Atkinson and Karen Ayotte.
John is survived by his wife, Penny Douglas Koziara; his daughters, Tori Koziara of Corry, Callista Koziara of Spartansburg, Angela Abousamra (Ahmed) of Hillsboro, OR, Tamra Rodgers (Kevin) of Centerville, and Shannon Loch (Jeremy) of Geneva, PA; his grandchildren, Zayden, Amaya, and Lydia; his brother, Michael Koziara; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Friends and family are invited to plant a tree in his memory.
