Gary Lee Collins
Gary Lee Collins, age 69, of Transfer, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at the Crawford Care Center in Saegertown.
Born in Sharon, PA on July 16, 1957, he was the son of the late Coy V. and Helen (Thomas) Collins.
Gary was a lifetime member of the N.R.A., and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his guns and his dogs. He had a passion for Hunter Training Education and archery. He also had a love for films and Country and Classic Rock music. Most of all, he loved spending time with his favorite person, his daughter HaiLee.
He is survived by his son, Coy Collins; his daughter, HaiLee Boardman (Colton); his sisters, Sandy Llewellyn (Danny) and Donna Espy, his three granddaughters, Bellatori, Coralee and Xandria; his stepsons, Chad Perry and Travis Perry, and his beloved Shih Tzu, Zoey.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelbie Collins Hodil; his sister, Sherry DePreta; his nephew, Ryan Llewellyn, and his brother-in-law, William Espy.
There will be no viewing or visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
