Richard E. Callahan
Lifetime Warren, Pennsylvania resident, Richard E. Callahan, died June 9, 2019 at UPMC Hamot Hospital Erie, PA.
Richard was born October 28, 1942 in Warren, PA to Dennis and Gaynell Callahan. Richard served in United States Army 1960-1963, Air Defense Missile Crewman and was stationed in Okinawa. He enjoyed boating and fishing, hunting, and working on cars. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 313 and American Legion Post 135.
He is survived by his wife Violet Callahan of 53 years; two sons Rick and Michael Callahan of Warren, PA; a daughter Christina Callahan VanMaele (Anthony) of Painesville, OH; seven grandchildren Devin, Erin (Mitch), Connor, Cole, Antonio, Mackenzie and Madison; two great grandchildren Riley and Landon; two brothers, Robert (Nancy) Callahan and Knuten (Diane) Callahan of Warren, PA; one sister, Mary Callahan Sheets of Warren, PA; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; 2 great nieces and 6 great nephews.
At his request, no service will be held.
