Valeria E. (Greenman) Carlson
Valeria E. (Greenman) Carlson, 89, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at her children’s residence.
She was born in Erie on February 21, 1936, a daughter of the late Harry E. and LaVona (Hill) Greenman.
Valeria worked as a custodian for the Wattsburg School District for many years.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, making afghans, bingo, playing cards, and playing dominos with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Carlson of Waterford, John Carlson of Emmitsburg, MD, and Michael Carlson of Pittsburgh; her daughters, Nancy Nunes of Erie, Teresa Carlson of Waterford, and Shirley Carlson of Erie; her grandchildren, John and Adam Nunes, Nicole Steffi, Thomas, Christopher (Danielle), and Richard Evans, and Michael Carlson; her great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Owen Evans, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. “Jim” Carlson; her brothers, James and William Greenman, and her sister, Barbara Trott.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
