Martin Miller
Martin Miller, 79, of Cambridge Springs, passed on to his place in Heaven on October 24, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Pearl (Drayer) Miller; four sisters, Shirley Miller, May Marie Miller, Betty Greeno, and Elsie Jean Harms; two brothers, Richard Miller and Clifton Miller; two granddaughters, Beth Ann and Samantha Lea; and one great granddaughter, Allie Mae. Martin was one of 18 children born and raised in Crawford County.
Martin was employed as a steeple jack and carpenter most of his life. One of his life-long goals was to build a log cabin with his own hands, which he accomplished. Martin was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He leaves behind six children; Lori (husband Dale Swartz), Darin (wife Tina Meyers), Heidi (husband Dave Pierce), Karin (husband Jim Heilbrun), Marcy (husband Andy Eliason), and Dustin (wife Gwen Gomez), as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Martin’s children welcome family and friends to a celebration of his life at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 27 West 2nd Avenue in Waterford, PA on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00AM. Martin will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in a private ceremony by his children.
