Mary Lou (Thompson) Hazeltine
Mary Lou (Thompson) Hazeltine, age 83, of Corry, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Corry Memorial Hospital. She was born in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Stanley E. and Grace C. Lewis Thompson.
She attended Clymer Central School and later earned her GED at Corry Higher Education.
Mary married the love of her life, Kenneth L. Hazeltine, on July 17, 1958, and had 67 wonderful years together.
She was a member of the Union City Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. She loved gardening, cooking, crafts, and painting.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Teresa Hansen (Thomas) of Waterford; her grandchildren, Naydia Rivera (Jose), Gabriel Group, Joseph Group (companion Laurie Fries); her great-grandchildren, Julie Group and Jaleena Rivera; her sister, Sharon Dibble (Hazen) of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth L. Hazeltine, Jr.; her sisters, Sandra Walton, Patricia Bromley, and Anna Mae Thompson; and her brother, Gerald Thompson.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be private in West Lawn Cemetery in Columbus, Pa.
