Nancy Jane (Daniels) Dodd
Nancy Jane (Daniels) Dodd of North East, formerly of Monongahela and Mt. Pleasant went home to be with God on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the age of 77.
She was born July 21, 1949, the daughter of Chester A. and Sara E. (Sarver) Daniels.
Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. Prior to retirement, she worked at Harmon House Health and Rehabilitation Center for 27 years in the kitchen where she treated those she served with love and kindness.
Nancy was an active member of her church, Immanuel United Methodist Church in North East where she enjoyed contributing to activities to support the church like bake sales. She was an excellent baker and enjoyed cooking for others. Nancy found community in this church following her move to North East and through this community strengthened her relationship and devotion to God.
She is survived by one son, James Dodd and wife Lori of North East along with her four grandchildren that brought her immense joy, Madison, Landon, Morgan and Gavin Dodd. She lit up with happiness anytime she could share about their accomplishments and adventures in life. She is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members who she held dear in her heart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby, Clifford and Donald Daniels and her dear sister Betty (Daniels) Frye.
