Frank Zimmer
Frank Zimmer, 75, passed away on October 2, 2026. Born on September 17, 1951, in Erie PA, and resided in Jamestown NY.
Frank lived a life defined by his love of family, sports, friendship, and an unwavering commitment to those he cared about most.
Frank was preceded in death by his daughters, Stephanie and Kim Zimmer, and his sister Linda Zimmer.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Sherrie Zimmer; his sons, Justin (Tammi) Zimmer and Matt Zimmer; his cherished granddaughters, Makayla Zimmer, Sydney Dahl, and Hannah Moloney; and his brother, Daniel Zimmer.
Family was at the center of Frank's life. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who was always willing to help others. He shared a special bond with his brother Danny, faithfully taking him to weekly haircuts and spending time together.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Frank loved both playing, coaching, and watching sports across the spectrum.
Frank will be remembered for his generous heart, competitive spirit, dedication to family, and ability to find joy in the simple moments of life. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and perseverance that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Visitations and services will be held on October 17, 2026’ from 11:30 am until the time of service at 1 pm at Wesleyville Baptist Church 3509 Buffalo Rd., Erie PA 16510
