Heidi E. Meyer Wigham
Heidi E. Meyer Wigham, age 66, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026.
Heidi was born September 10, 1959, in Baumgarten, Germany. She was blessed to be adopted by a military family and relocated to the United States, where she proudly became a United States citizen at the young age of six.
Heidi was a truly remarkable and one-of-a-kind soul. She was a prolific artist, author of two books, spiritual channeler, avid wildlife and animal advocate, remarkable table tipper, and a deeply spiritual and gentle individual. Her many interests and hobbies included gardening, metal detecting, musical instruments, magnet fishing, and spirit photography. Heidi shared her passion and knowledge with others by teaching classes in orb photography and table tipping.
Heidi proudly served her country as a medic in the United States Air Force. Following her military service, she was a volunteer firefighter, then dedicated many years to caring for others before retiring from the PA Soldiers & Sailors Home.
Heidi was a member of the Church of the Living Spirit in Lily Dale, New York. She was also a member of the Siebenbuerger Club, Moose Club, and American Legion Post 742.
Heidi leaves behind her beloved life partner and wife of 46 years, Sharon Pieri; her birth mother, Rosemarie Zielenbach; brother, Gregory Wigham (Teresa) (Nathan and Jillian); brother, Thomas Zielenback (Frank); sister, Nancy Hainbach (Charles); children, Mona Stull, Lisa Vaden, and Heather Stewart; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many very special friends whose lives were touched by her.
She was preceded in death by her father, James P. Meyer; her mother, Patricia F. Wigham; her son, Norman Gregory Wigham, and her birth father, Henry Ridler.
Heidi lived in her own extraordinary way. Her curiosity, spirituality, creativity, love of animals, and gentle spirit made her unforgettable to those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Heidi’s memory to the Erie V.A., UPMC Hospice, or a local animal rescue of your choice.
At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours, and burial will be private.
