Ricky Monroe Eggleston
July 18, 1961 – March 13, 2026

Ricky Monroe Eggleston, age 64, of North East, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Ricky was born on July 18, 1961, to the late Ruth Sweat and Ernest Eggleston. He was a proud graduate of North East High School and went on to build a long and dedicated career as a CNC Programmer at Electric Materials Company, where he worked for more than three decades before retiring. Through his years of service, he earned the respect of coworkers and friends through his hard work, loyalty, and integrity.

Ricky lived a life filled with simple joys and deep gratitude. He loved spending time outdoors - hunting, fishing at Bull’s Dam, and camping were among his favorite pastimes. He also enjoyed cooking and baking and found happiness in preparing food to share with family and friends.

Above all, Ricky’s greatest joy was his beloved “baby girls,” whom he treasured beyond measure. His daughters were the center of his world, and he took great pride in being their father. He also adored his cats, who were constant companions and brought him comfort and happiness.

Ricky believed in living with kindness, honesty, and integrity, and he carried those values into every relationship and every day of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved daughter, Michelle Eggleston.

Ricky is survived by his daughters, Amber Eggleston and Britney Eggleston; his granddaughter, Aubrey Urbieta; his sisters, Linda Gordon (Howard) and Nancy Craig (Don); his brothers, Jack Sweat (DeseRai) and Mike Eggleston (Pam), and many nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes, there will be no formal service. A Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday in July, with details to be announced later.
