Jack N. Magee
November 29, 1939 – August 9, 2025

Jack N. Magee, 85, of Union City, PA, passed away on August 9, 2025, at Corry Manor Nursing Home.

Born on November 29, 1939, in Union City, Jack graduated from Union City High School in 1957 and proudly served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.

Over the years, Jack worked at Snap-Tite, Thomas Motors, and Brown Drilling. He was the proud owner and operator of Magee’s Townhouse Lounge in Union City, which he and his wife ran together until their retirement. Jack was an avid golfer and a lifelong member of the American Legion Post 237 and the Moose Lodge 882. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Gladys (Parker) Magee; his parents, George N. Magee and Helen (Coe) Magee; his brother, George J. Magee; sisters, Judy A. Magee and Janet McWilliams and her husband, Clair; and brothers-in-law, Jon Barnes and Charles Pruett.

He is survived by his children: Lori Carney (Paul), Eric Magee (Caryn), Michael Magee (Kerri), and Troy Magee (Carrie); sisters, Jane Barnes and Verna McCracken (Chauncey); sisters-in-law, Gail Kolaja (Lynn), Joy Pruett, and Janette Heron (Jim); grandchildren, Paul Carney III (Renee), Brenden Carney, Aaron Carney (Teri), Meghan Heil (Nick), Paige Rodriguez (Taran), Meredith, Regan, Avery, Michayla, Shea, Zoe, and Quinlan Magee; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Eliza, Hudson, Finley, Marley, and Bella; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Jack’s honor on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 237, 9225 US-6, Union City, PA. All family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
