Charles R. Kitelinger
Charles R. Kitelinger, 78, of Union City, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born in Union City on March 5, 1948, a son of the late James Kitelinger and Margaret Gariepy Lingo.
He attended Titusville High School. He worked as a Test Operator for Bucyrus Erie for 19 years and as a Mechanic for Liberty Iron and Metal for 19 years.
Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, 4-wheelers, and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Brown Kitelinger; his daughter, Janelle Kitelinger; and his brothers, Henry "Butch" Kitelinger, Ed Hawley, and William Applebee.
Charles is survived by his sons, Jason Kitelinger of Union City, Justin Kitelinger of Greene Twp., Matthew Rauch (Sarah) of Erie, and Donnie Good (Julie) of Union City; his grandchildren, Donathon, Issac, Ava, and Alecia Kitelinger, Matthew II, Layla, and Sadie Rauch, and Isabella Good; his sister, Diana Kitelinger; many amish friends; and numerous nieces and nephews.
