Aline “Sue” Huff

With heavy hearts and grateful smiles, we remember Sue Huff, a woman whose life was filled with laughter, honesty, and endless care for those around her. She had a way of lighting up any room she entered not with grand gestures, but with her quick wit, warm heart, and genuine presence.

Sue was the kind of person who told the truth, even when it wasn’t easy, but always wrapped in love. Her humor could lift spirits on the darkest days, and her laughter was contagious. Whether through a clever joke, a knowing look, or a perfectly timed comment, she made life feel lighter for everyone lucky enough to know her.

Her caring nature showed in the small, everyday things - checking in on friends, remembering birthdays, offering a listening ear, and giving comfort without being asked. She made people feel seen, valued, and understood. To know Sue was to feel accepted exactly as you were.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Alisha Huff and her partner, Nate Heidler. She also leaves behind her cherished granddaughter, Katlynn Heidler, and her beloved niece, Lacy Reed. She will be deeply missed by her brother, Eugene Reed (Tiffany), as well as her brother, Rex Reed (Darlene). Sue is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who will carry her memory forward.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Grace (Redding) Reed, along with several aunts and uncles.

In honor of Sue’s memory, a Celebration of Life will be held on June 7th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the pavilion of the American Legion Post 365 in Corry.

Though Sue is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on in the stories we tell, the laughter we share, and the love she taught us to give so freely. She will be forever remembered, deeply missed, and always cherished.
