Latosha Ferguson

Latosha Ferguson, age 45, of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2026. Born in Erie, PA on June 18, 1980, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ruth Robinson and Charles Prescott.

Latosha was a woman of remarkable character—witty, carefree, loving, and articulate. A true lover of music and the arts, she possessed a bright smile and a one-of-a-kind laugh that could light up any room and stir the hearts of everyone around her. She was, quite simply, a pure joy to be near.

Her passions were as unique as her spirit. Latosha was a self-taught cook who found happiness in creating recipes from scratch and had a keen eye for collecting items that reflected her creative and expressive nature. Above all, she had a deep-seated passion for helping others. Her legacy is defined by the kindness, humor, and wisdom she generously shared with her community.

Latosha leaves behind a large and devoted family to cherish her sweet memories. She is survived by her children:

Daughters, Krystal Day, Katlyn Day, Kimberly Day, Aaliyah Sanders, Ashanique Sanders, Carrienasia Sanders, Angel Ferguson, and Breanna Ferguson.

Sons: Matthew Moore, Jasper Sanders, and Benjamin Ferguson.

She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren (3) and her dear grandmother, Dorothy Prescott.

Latosha’s memory will be carried on by her eleven siblings: Raymond Thomas, Lywanda Thomas, Joyce Thomas, Tamelia Mercer, Rashida Ferguson, Kamisha Ferguson, William Grenaway, Lydia Ferguson, Jonathan Ferguson, Charles Mitchell, and Carlina Mitchell. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
